THEM ou le périple de 2 globes-trotteurs en herbe
11 décembre 2009

Special thanks to special people

No doubt mates that your curiosity and concern

will lead you directly to our blog...

That is why this article is devoted to you,

knowing well that it would be too long otherwise

to translate all this french 'novel'!

So how are you since our departure?

We reckon that you all have finally enlightened your Christmas Tree,

written your Santa's letter and prepared your menu for the delicious end-of-year meals...

It is good to know that you will have a great time with your family,

it is weird for us to celebrate it without anybody..

And having sun during December is quite amazing too

(for information it's snowing in France, minus temperatures are obvious,

we are not in a hurry to come back 'home'!!!).

As you are wondering how our adventure is going on,

(we apologise for the lack of news by phone but your country is so wide,

Vodafone doesn't have such a range of network!!!! Sorry for that ;-))

the best way to express it would be the simple word 'BEAUTIFUL'...

We drove a lot between QLD and NT,

it's a long long way to go to the red centre!

But how stunning it is! Nothing could describe it...

We made the base walk @ Uluru and

we walked also @ the Kata Tjuta & Kings Canyon.

We've got a lot of photos to show you now ;-P !

You already know that we are now in Darwin.

Guess what? It's hot and humid...

Just impossible to breathe after 3am in Pépin-Oz (our great home-car ^ ^) lol,

but thanks to the mosquitoes nets it is better than nothing :

open windows mean we can have a little breeze.

For the little story, we were somewhere in the Wet Tropics before Darwin

and we woke up with a 'giant' storm : our bed got flooded in 5 sec!!

Aussie memories memories!!!!

Our trip is nice since we have arrived (despite of these unexpected facts)...

And yes, we had a wonderful time in Queensland,

Yes, we discovered and learnt a lot sharing our experiences,

No, that's true, nothing would be possible without you,

No, you're right, it'll be difficult not to see you soon!

For everything you made, for each smile you gave,

like a boomerang or like a mirror,

we wish you more than a Merry Christmas,

may that new year be the reflection of your kindness...

Cause you are great people, deserving to be known.

"Thank you then for having entering our lives"

we'll miss you, Australia too...

Two months & half to go,

a priori the end but just the beginning...

The french gardeners, intrepids, canailloux, frogs, rabbits,

Estelle & Julien ('Julian'), it's up to you!

NB : We are going to Broome and be there certainly for the New Year's Eve,

after that no plans, just the following of our wishes...

Take care & Hope to see you on Skype, internet or whatever

but always with pleasure!!!
